Dear friends, great IMO STARS, I thank God Almighty for a successful completion of our second semester exams and I congratulate each and every one of us for making it into a new level, and also our freshest graduates.
In a new level that we have already entered, it is absolutely a ripe time to engage ourselves collectively to achieve something great and noteworthy. It's our time to make a difference and we can positively achieve that if we are well aware of key areas that need evolution not necessarily revolution.
The structure of leadership in our school is very unique; but needs good blending. Basically a leadership that has the mandate of the people is sure to encounter so many hoarding challenges to test the resolve of that leadership; but with perfect blending of our union groups and good involvement of each and every single government of community, departmental, faculty, social club and alliances leadership, the central leadership can positively engage great ideas for the benefit of each and every IMO STAR.
The challenges of IMO STARS in their strong and committed drive towards attaining a degree here in our noble citadel of learning includes: welfare needs, security and protection of lives, good funding of academic needs, improved standards in our learning involvement and having a say in decisions made for us. Good planning is the key to reducing and alleviating these challenges. The leadership must first be aware of these challenges limiting the comfort of IMO STARS and have to do their great bit to achieve success over the challenges.
One of such ways of paving success over those challenges are forwarded and followed writings to the school management about the state of our welfare and education. Cooperation with hostel alliances about the welfare of student residences. Involving the state government in rehabilitating some of our roads outside campus which are routes of importance to come to school. Reducing the security challenges by incorporating the school authority and the government for security measures during and after each semester. Involving community, departmental, faculty and social clubs' leadership in carrying out unique service projects that helps our institution towards the attainment of good health, and also engage them on the activities of the leadership of our school through development and leadership seminars and also entrepreneurial seminars and follow-up activities.
Another is the bonding unity among our Students executives,legislative and Judiciary council. This is very vital for having a strong body that can effectively lead our students and institution. A good leadership is a listening and contemplative leadership. A united leadership will go for what will benefit every IMO STAR and not what will improve the fame of any individual or drive the institution to anarchy and rancour. A united leadership set-up is what our dear institution needs and seeks to retain and improve so that as a general collective, we can achieve a lot of objectives and strategize on leaving something of repute to forthcoming leaderships.
Dear friends!!! Great IMO STARS !!!, it is a time to make a difference in IMSU Leadership to give IMO STARS the best they want. It is a time to get the virtuous desire you all expect, and assuredly, *Comr Chidi Onyeji (ZANDERS )* is now ready to vie for the Post of *SUG PRESIDENT* to *"PRESIDE"* over the Affairs of "IMO STARS" and to give IMO STARS the best they want. He has informed and basically restructured, reinvigorated and improved on the things he saw in the information sector. To whom much is given, much is expected. He knows what is expected, he knows our virtuous desire, let him make the difference.
